Institutional Animal Committee of Santhiram Medical College & General Hospital has been constituted for the academic session with the following persons as members Objectives :
Review the academic and other related activities of the college.
Visualize and formulate perspective plans for the development and growth of the college.
Introduce innovations in Teaching, Learning and Evaluation practices
Introduce the additional infrastructural facilities required to strengthen the Departments for the changing needs of the curriculum, revision or introduction of new disciplines.
Promote research and extension activities in the college campus
Plan for sustaining the quality of education, quality improvement and accreditation of the College
Draft Concise Leave Rules for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the College.
Review student’s attendance/malpractices in examinations
Oversee the internal examinations/evaluation/recording.
Take disciplinary action on those students for violation and disobedience of the college rule
Preparing of academic schedules, finalising the internal marks to be sent to the university
To collect feedback from the students
To collect teacher appraisals
Any other topic related to the academics of the different programs.
